Armenia wants to launch the process of creating a free economic area on the border with Iran, Economy Development Minister Suren Karayan said during a briefing on Wednesday.
According to him, concept approaches have been already prepared and a business program is ready. Armenia has started collecting bids from potential investors. The free economic area will be created near the town of Meghri on the Armenian side of the border.
