Brussels Airline to launch flights to Yerevan

Brussels Airline has reaffirmed its plan to operate an air route with Armenia’s capital starting from December.

At a meeting with Sergey Avetisyan, Head of the Armenian Government’s General Department on Civil Aviation, representatives of the company said that they now intend to serve weekly flights (every Friday) from December 10 2016 until March 31 2017.

The company is planning to launch regular flights later in 2017. It is now conducting a market monitoring to finalize future activites, the Department’s press service reports.

Hailing the airline’s entry into the Armenia, Avetisyan highlighted the importance of expanding the air transportation network and diversifying the market.
