«Come home» program opens for the 7th time

Already for the 7th time the RA Ministry of Diaspora hosts participants of «Come home» youth program. This time, 72 Armenian teenagers from 13 countries arrived to Armenia to acquaint themselves with their homeland and native language. The opening ceremony took place today, Ministry of Diapsora’s Press Service reports.

Serzh Srapionyan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Diaspora, passed the Minister Hranush Hakobyan’s greetings to the participants.

«Dear boys and girls, welcome to Armenia, well met at your Homeland, well met at home. I am glad that you will enjoy your Homeland, visit the sights during the program. And which is the most important you will attend intensive courses of Armenian language. You should learn Armenian, speak Armenian to keep your language and identity. Armenia is your home and sooner or later you will return to your Homeland. Welcome», Srapionyan said.

The participants thanked the Minister of Diaspora and the organizers for the brilliant opportunities given by the program. The children recited poetry, sang and then performed a round dance.
