The Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Ukraine, Archbishop Krikoris Puniatian, died today, March 7, in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov at age 68.
His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, spoke deeply regretting the news of the sudden death of the religious.
The Archbishop had served the Armenian Apostolic Church in Argentina from 1981 to 1990, and he is still very loved and respected in our community.
