Ireland ratifies Armenia-EU agreement

Ireland has ratified the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU. ARMENPRESS reports, citing Dfa.ie website, saluting the ratification, Foreign Minister of Ireland Simon Coveney noted that the agreement will contribute to the deepening of relations between Armenia and the EU member states.

He added that Ireland, together with its EU partners, was excited by the peaceful democratic achievements of Armenia in spring of 2018 and will continue to encourage and support Armenia’s impressive efforts on its way to reforms.

The Tánaiste added, “Along with our EU partners, Ireland was inspired by the peaceful democratic achievements of Spring 2018 in Armenia and will continue to encourage and support Armenia’s impressive reform efforts.”
