Referendum on Community Enlargement in Armenia’s Regions

Pursuant to the Armenian government’s decision, the Tavush, Syunik and Lori 23 regions of Armenia are holding a referendum on community enlargement. Three local NGOs are monitoring the referendum Election Systems Center, Goris Press Club and Liberalism and Democracy. By enlarging Armenia’s community the government plans to cut municipal expenditures.
